Alice in Wonderland?

I dunno how to work this blogger thing anymore, it's been so long since I made a structured post on an actual blog with actual readers and oh God I think I have stage fright...

*awkward silence*

Yeah, but all jokes aside it is a little nerve-racking knowing that you're posting for more than just a couple of people. You guys are scary-ass judgmental sometimes.

Aaaaanywaysss...

What am I posting about? I think I had a topic... But I forgot it. Shows how organized I am! This is going to be faaaabulously well structured. I think I'll post about makeup in the future; I've been buying loads of stuff recently and it's fun to post reviews, particularly when comparing high end brands to low end (and for the record, I will always choose my Bourjois foundation over Mac) and it's nice to hear about things that are not very well known but seriously worth looking at (like Vichy's DermaBlend - seriously, if you have acne, LOOK IT UP, the coverage is absoloutely phenomenomenomenal)

Ok, I'm going off topic, this is meant to be an introduction..

I'm Alice, I'm 16, I'm from gay 'ol England, I live by the sea, I want to work in the fashion industry (makeup artistry and design are my main interests) I made all the banners and shit for this blog (someone did help with the shading in the end cause I hurt my wrist, thanks to Princess_Kiara1)

Reasons why I haven't logged into Stardoll for ages:

  • Criminal amounts of homework
  • Internet is dodgy
  • Lack of interest
  • Doesn't work well on my phone

Sorry if I haven't replied to anyone or anything, I just haven't been online :P

Don't expect me to post within the next 2 weeks, I have work experience and half term holidays (awwlllriiiigggghhhhht, party rockin' here I come)

Wow, that sounded blunt...

I'm nice really!

Have a wonderful day,

Review: Stardoll Movie BETA

Hello Readers,

So I have come here, today to write you a post. You may say oh my Patrick posting this post should suck. Yes, I'm a horrible writer but I think I'm actually going to try to write a decent post this time. So here I go:

You may have noticed a new feature on Stardoll, or maybe you're like me and don't notice until your friend tells you to go check it out. Anyways, back to the point. I want to write a review on this new feature. If Stardoll spent real money on this, they might as well bought a 2 gallon container of giraffe shit, because that would be more useful than this. The "amazing feature" isn't worth any of your time or effort. You can make a 30 second "movie" and then have to pay 3 (12 when it's not BETA anymore) stardollars to publish it. You may be thinking wow this is really cool! Well, I'm telling you, it isn't.

There isn't a purpose to this feature and I know for a fact, that I won't be using it. It was a "good" idea but if your going to have a "great" idea like that, at least make it exciting or something. This is just you put a bunch of your stardoll items into a box and then pick medolls you want to be in it and then you dress them (their clothes cover their hair). I just don't see a point in this feature, and yes I know I have made that clear.

By the way...
Do y'all like the new The Stardoll Shiner?

Sticks & Stones

I wrote for TSS before it was closed down for it's renovation but now that it's back, I am returning also! This is my first post and the topic today is rather controversial too. I actually had no clue I was going to be posting about this, but I stumbled upon a beautiful song and needed to write a post about it. (Nicola Roberts - Sticks + Stones) Very weird on such a drug obsessed blog Patrick! Only joking, dude, you know I love you.

Bullying is a huge problem going around nowadays. Whether for looks, sexuality, social background, religion, it's hard to go through. And I know that. I honestly don't know how somebody could live with themselves, knowing that they've just gone up to someone, and made fun of them, for whatever matter. These people that are bullied 90% of the time are too young to buy fucking alcohol, yet you think they'd be alright with being called ugly, being called queer, being made fun of because of race or religion. It's not okay. And it's not okay to pretend your alright, but be secretly cracking. Your not alone, so don't change for pathetic people that can't take your better than them. Words hurt, there is no denying. We're not the same, so don't change, don't give up. Suicide is not an option. Ever.

Relating to our little Stardoll world though. CYBER BULLYING HURTS TOO. Alot of people think that, well, it's just saying some things over a doll site. It's not, it's much more than that. It's people that, in some cases, don't even know you, don't know who you are. I feel so awful when I go to people's guestbooks and see some sad, little, pathetic bitches posting in boys guestbooks "Your weird, gay fag." Seriously? You have nothing better to do than post in peoples guestbooks, insulting them? Fashion and Stardoll isn't just for girls, like football and sports are just for boys.

And I have to post this song, after all, it's what inspired me to make this post:

Love from Sally,
your neighbourhood alpacca feeder!

This Little Light Of Mine: LET IT SHINE!

The Stardoll Shiner has officially opened. And it's an honor to make the first post!

It is quite funny how I got to work here actually! It all started when Patrick sent me an friend request on Stardoll. I was quite shocked to get one from HIM, you know, he is a total diva bitch! But we all love him for it ;D Anyway, he wanted me to write for his blog 'TSS' after he saw me writing 'What's Up' with Jack.

A few months ago, (January-ish) before I was shooting off to fame (Not trying to be obnoxious) I tried to talk to Patrick in his guestbook but he totally shot me off as yesterdays bad pizza, and at that moment I kinda hated him a little! The bottom line is that it is kind of ironic that I am now writing for his blog!

^Babbling, blah blah blah^

I hope you will all read and comment and have a good time!
PS: Writers, get the finger out of your hair and start posting! Haha.

Much Love Selena
